Color Rush was a city chic fashion event that showcased the collaboration of DTLR and Kandi Burress' TAGS Boutique.
The showcase displayed upcoming summer fashions in color block segments for male and female included brands such as Nike, Hustle Gang, EPTM, Born Fly, Converse, Diamond Supply, Mitchell & Ness, Staple, Timberland, Stance Socks, Akoo, New Era Camp, Black Pyramid, New Balance, Pink Dolphin, Ceo Millionaires, Puma, and of course Kandi Burress' TAGS Boutique. Gocha Salon provided the ladies with hair and makeup, while Hot 107.9 Reec provided the city with a live broadcast from the show.
Now, this event was a little different for me. I didn't get into the event until late because I was assisting with red carpet pics. And so, by the time I got inside all of the seats were taken. I kind of hungout in the VIP media area and basically saw a glimpse of the show. From what I could see though, there were a lot of male models, which I don't really get a chance to see a lot of; that was exciting.
Hot 107.9 and DTLR in the building!
Check out Mc Media Works @whoiszo posing like a model in the green jacket. lol. Hey Zo!
Da Brat contemplating whether or not she was going to walk the red carpet. At first she looked a little hesitant.
She finally came around!
After all of these years in the game Da Brat still got it going on! She looks good. Someone asked her how she liked working for Dish Nation; she said it's the only job she ever had and loves it!
More Red Carpet pics from DC Young Fly, YFN Lucci, Comedian Pierre, J-Nicks, and a few others.
I didn't recognize a lot of the people on the red carpet but I'm sure they're doing their thing!
Me and the models! Zyoness and Deanna Liz.
Inside was lit! Packed house!
