Red Martini Lounge
Wednesday night was awesome! It felt like a mini reunion. lol.
Ok, here's the scoop, I used to work with TUC Magazine almost 2 years ago when I first moved to Atlanta. As a matter of fact, Tonio ( CEO of TUC Mag) was the first industry/entertainment person I encountered after only being in Atlanta about 2 months or so. I was out walking down Edgewood Avenue on a date and bumped into Tonio while handing out fliers for his upcoming event.
I remember him telling me how much I looked like a stylist ( I used to rock my mohawk real heavy back then and used to get that question often); I was just a CURVY CURLY girl by the name of CHRISY, from Memphis TN, trying to get used to living in Atlanta. I was soooo homesick.
Since I was new here and I LOOOOVE art, I told him I was definitely going to attend. I didn't have any friends yet, so I went solo, hoping to meet new people.
Let's rewind back to my journey with TUC real quick.
The art event Tonio invited me to was nice!
It was something like an art mixer that had live painting and hip hop music. I loved it.

Ending up meshing well with Tonio and his team and ended up being part of the team! Been there done that, got the t-shirt to prove it. lol.
Tonio will tell you - I cut up for a cute TUC t-shirt, as well as coordinating t-shirts for the team. lol. He said I was a handful back then.
Took this pic September 18, 2014 right before I was about to head out as a Brand Ambassador with TUC. We were headed to a spot called Club Lime Light at Uptown Comedy center to recruit models for the magazine. It's funny because I wasn't even a model back then, but was recruiting models like I knew what I was doing, lol. Unbeknownst to me, I would be a model just three months after that.
With Tuc Staff (Rico) at the recruiting event.
Another TUC Event.
That picture was taken October 20, 2014 right before we headed out to an event in the city to promote the magazine. I remember the event being on Edgewood Avenue ( Tonio loves urban areas), and Scotty ATL performing.
I wasn't into taking pictures as much ( other than selfies) back then, so I don't have a lot of pics of my journey with TUC :(
November 02, 2014 was my last event with TUC.
After the Ink and Art Inkfest with InkJunkEyez I went my separate ways.

Simply put, I was in the middle of a business deal that went sideways. I felt bad for it not going through ( although it wasn't my fault), and because I didn't want a bad reputation I fell back. Being new to the industry and not knowing how to handle things like that I felt that was the best thing for me to do.
My, my, my, TUC has grown and so have I.
TUC has restructured, and has even changed their name ( meaning of TUC and their focus) as well as their logo.
Let's take it back to the cover release party the other day, June 15, 2016.
(Left) Zonnique Pullins, T.I. & Tiny Harris's daughter, also singer and member of The OMG Girlz.
(Right) Mishon, R&B Singer and actor.
Both graced the cover of TUC's newest editions ( Issue 3 and 4).
Visit http://www.tucmag.net/ for more information.
Caught a glimpse of Mishon performing from his VIP section.
(Left) JoeYungSpike, My fellow Memphian who also lives here in Atlanta and is a well known video producer stopped by. This guy hasn't even been in Atlanta 2 years yet and Is poppin!
Pictured above with Tonio ( TUC CEO). I am so happy for him and his accomplishments! Although I'm not directly part of the TUC Team they're still my peeps!
Tonio is a hard worker and is someone to learn from. He is not the type to GIVE anyone information, but, he will lead you in the right direction and has been somewhat a mentor to me on several occasions! That's my guy!
Congrats Zonnique, Mishon and TUC Magazine on your success!
